The 2 to 1 Cable Connector is here to amplify your home gym training on the REP® ARES™ 2.0 cable system. It easily clips onto both pulleys, merging the weight stacks for single-handle cable machine attachments — setting you up to tackle lat pulldowns with a bar, low rows with a triangle, and so much more. When the work is done, simply detach the clip to use both weight stacks independently again.

We own the Ares 2. 0 and it comes with one of the 2 to 1 Bar Connector, you can swap it between the lat pulldown and the low row station, but I purchased another well known multiple position connector so I didn't have to swap it out, but as soon as REP dropped their connector on the website I purchased it. The Fit, swivel and overall quality makes this great attachment, do you really need it, no but for the quality, price and convenience why not.

This is a must have for me since I use it on both the upper and lower pulleys and don’t want to have to keep switching out between the two. With that said, I wish Rep would have included two of these with the purchase of an Ares 2. 0. I don’t feel like after spending the money on the Ares 2. 0 that I should have to go buy a second one of these. However, I do love all of my rep products.
