OVERVIEW
Introducing the Adonis™ cable tower. Meticulously crafted through customer insights, an unwavering commitment to our pillars of innovation and value, and decades of expertise both in design and lifting. Our Colorado-based engineering team has made the best cable tower you’ll ever put your hands on.
Transform your space with the Adonis™ cable tower – offering unparalleled versatility in one functional cable system. The Adonis™ cable towers, available in both plate-loaded and selectorized options, are sleek, low-profile cable machines. They can function as stand-alone units, seamlessly extend your 5000 or 4000 Series power rack or rig, or integrate effortlessly with REP's Modular Storage System. The Adonis™ cable tower is the first of its kind, featuring a 1:1 ratio (20lbs feels like 20lbs) for the lat pulldown and low row feature and a 2:1 ratio (20lbs feels like 10lbs) for the adjustable trolley. The plate-loaded Adonis™ cable tower features built-in stainless-steel weight horns with a max loadable capacity of 360lbs. The selectorized Adonis™ cable tower has a 210lbs weight stack of machine-finished, hot-rolled, steel plates for consistent, durable weight, plus stainless-steel weight horns to add even more weight. Easily adjust the weight stack with a magnetized pin. Add more resistance to either version with resistance bands on the integrated band pegs up to the max capacity of 450lbs. The Adonis™ cable tower comes with one pair of 1.25lb and a pair of 2.5lb plates accented by a Grecian pattern -- a nod to the mythology that inspired the equipment's name. Thirty-four different cable positions allow you to maximize your range of motion, and patent-pending, plastic lined trolleys are easy to adjust with one hand.
The cables are made from high-quality, galvanized wire with a raw steel core. The pulleys are made from smooth, durable, strong aluminum, and the front pulley has a 180-degree swivel for versatility. The heavy-duty 3x3” 11-gauge steel base and uprights (front and back) allow you to maximize functionality by facilitating attachment connections and offering space-save storage solutions. Laser-cut numbering on the front upright makes it easy to find the desired position. The Adonis™ cable tower comes with a telescoping footplate, with seven adjustments to brace against during low rows, and a pair of knurled steel D-handles, hard-chrome lat pulldown bar, and low row bar. It’s also compatible with a wide assortment of additional cable attachments. Full-length metallic black shrouds with a recessed, stainless-steel REP logo are included. The shrouds feature a laser-cut pegboard with pegs (pair of 4" pegs included) for storage of small attachments and add-on weights. The Adonis™ cable tower is finished with a premium metallic black powder coat which provides durability and an upgraded aesthetic. You can switch from a plate-loaded system to a selectorized system with the conversion kit. You can also add the Pegasus™ attachment to assist with exercises like lat pulldowns, sit-ups, chest supported rows and more.
Note: All Adonis™ configurations need some kind of lateral support, so if your setup doesn't provide that, make sure you add a base. A stand-alone Adonis™ and a single-sided Adonis™ - With Storage need a base.

PRODUCT FEATURES

MODULAR DESIGN
Use this as a stand-alone unit or attach it to your 5000 or 4000 Series power rack or rig. In either configuration, the Adonis™ is also compatible with the Modular Storage System. -
Lat and Low Row
This tower features both a 1:1 ratio for the lat pulldown and low row, as well as a 2:1 ratio for the functional trainer component. A 2:1 ratio is great for functional training, when you want a faster-traveling cable. Think: more explosive exercises, quicker movements. The 1:1 ratio is better for slower, strength-focused exercises, like heavy lat pulldowns. The Adonis™ offers both options for ultimate versatility -
PATENT-PENDING DESIGN
Light, smooth trolleys with a knurled handle and oversized pop-pin are easy to move with one hand, but strong enough to handle heavy weight. They’re lined with a special plastic to protect the upright. -
QUALITY PULLEYS AND CABLES
The Adonis™ features aluminum pulleys with custom retainers to keep the cables on track. The front pulley has a 180-degree swivel for versatility. -
INTEGRATED BAND PEGS
The integrated band pegs on the base provide the option to create added resistance with bands. -
TELESCOPING FOOTPLATE
The Adonis™ comes with a footplate that allows for seven starting positions to brace against during low rows. -
STYLE AND SUBSTANCE
The upgraded aesthetics of the Adonis™ mean no compromises, especially with the premium metallic black powder-coat finish and stainless-steel accents. Precision manufacturing – laser cutting, robotic welding, and robotic painting all under one roof – ensures a consistent, high-quality product. -
ATTACHMENTS AND ADDITIONS
The Adonis™ comes with a pair of knurled steel D-handles; a knurled, hard-chrome lat pulldown bar; a low row bar; one pair of 1.25lb micro-plates accented by a Grecian pattern (a nod to the mythology that inspired the equipment's name); and a pair of 2.5lb micro-plates for small weight jumps. The Adonis™ is also compatible with a wide assortment of other attachments, such as the Pegasus™ Attachment or cable attachments. -
BUILT-IN STORAGE
The built-in storage keeps your small attachments and accessories organized and accessible. Customize your setup by easily repositioning the pegs to meet your preferences and needs. -
CONVERTIBLE
A conversion kit is available for people who want to transform their plate-loaded Adonis™ into a selectorized version.

FAQS
-
What will the price of the Adonis™ cable tower be?
We cannot provide pricing at this time.
-
What is the difference between the Adonis™ cable tower and the FT-5000 2.0?
The Adonis™ cable tower has a built-in lat pulldown and low row cable system that has a 1:1 ratio, as well as an adjustable trolley to allow single-side functional trainer movements at a 2:1 ratio. This attachment can also be used as a stand-alone piece, be built into a dual-sided functional trainer, or as a 5000 Series power rack or rig extension.
-
Why does the Adonis™ cable tower have a 1:1 ratio on some cables and a 2:1 ratio on other cables?
A 1:1 ratio means 20lbs on the cable creates 20lbs of resistance for you to move. These are also called single-pulley machines. A 2:1 ratio means 20lbs feels like 10lbs. These are also called double-pulley machines. A 2:1 ratio is great for functional training, when you want a faster-traveling cable. Think: more explosive exercises, jumps, quicker movements. That’s why we use that for the functional trainer aspect of the Adonis™ cable tower. The 1:1 ratio is better for slower, strength-focused exercises, like heavy lat pulldowns. The Adonis™ cable tower offers both options for ultimate versatility.
-
How hard is it to assemble?
The Adonis™ cable tower ships partially assembled. Assembly takes approximately two hours with two people.
-
What is the maximum strength for the lat pulldown and low row and the trolleys?
Each has a max capacity of 450lbs.
-
What is the minimum and maximum weight I can select?
The minimum usable weight for this machine will be 10lbs when using the trolley. The minimum usable weight for the lat pulldown and low row is 20lbs. The maximum usable weight for each is 450lbs.
-
Does the Adonis™ cable tower look nice?
Yes! Its thick powder coating and metallic black finish; 5000 Series holes; shroud; and rack extension options make it a premium addition to your exercise facility. The unit is laser-cut and robot-welded for a clean look.
-
What is the minimum and maximum trolley height I can use?
The trolley has a maximum usable height of 79” and a minimum usable height of 14”. For a higher attachment point, you can use the lat pulldown cable (88.8"), and for a lower attachment point, you can use the low row cable (10.8").
-
What is the maximum and minimum height of a lifter to be able to perform tricep pressdowns and bicep curls without any issues?
Since you can use the lat pulldown cable for tricep pressdowns, we are unable to calculate the maximum height -- we do not have any staff members above 7’ tall. Our shortest staff member, Aimee (5’), was able to do curls without an issue. You can also use the low row cable to get the absolute lowest position. Or you can stand on a box to increase the range of motion. Our tallest staff member, Matt (6’5”), was able to get a full range of motion for tricep pressdowns on the functional trainer cable when he held the tricep rope in the middle. We think anyone 6’2” and shorter should have no problem achieving the full range of motion – but if you need to and you prefer to use the functional trainer cable instead of the lat pulldown cable, you can always do pressdowns on your knees.
-
What is the difference between plate-loaded and selectorized?
On plate-loaded equipment, you change the weight by adding plates onto weight horns. On selectorized equipment, you change the weight using a pin and weight stack.
-
What is the cable travel on the Adonis™ cable tower?
The cable travel from the trolley is 108” and is 54” from the lat pulldown and low row component.
-
Will this work on my non-REP rack or rig?
We cannot guarantee compatibility due to machining/manufacturing differences between companies if you are attaching the Adonis™ cable tower to your rack or rig.The Adonis™ cable tower can be a standalone unit.
-
How much weight can be added to the selectorized Adonis™ cable tower headplate weight horns?
The maximum is 450lbs including the weight stack weight and with weights distributed evenly.
